Zora Slokar
born in 1980 in Bern, first studied the violin and at the same time she received first cornet lessons from her father which she continued studying with Th. Müller in Bern and with E. Penzel in Maastricht. She was the first laureate at the Ceccarossi Contest and at the Anemos Contests in Italy, she played as the first cornet player under the direction of well-known conductors in the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra an is at present solo cornet player in the „Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana“ in Lugano.
